I just wrote a post over on my other blog about plus size sewing patterns. It belongs here too, but just linking to it will have to do for now. It's not so much about sewing, but just the images used.
Oh, she's definitely not my idea of a "plus" size.
As for off the rack clothing, I think everyone is cutting things smaller (cutting costs?). Just trying on jackets, for example, they just feel much tighter in the arms, and that's me trying on a "large" size. Ok, I haven't grown that much and I used to fit in the small/medium size ... so I think there's something wrong when I'm finding "large" sizes too tight on me.
